Netanyahu Informs United States of Gaza Incursion
The Prime Minister of the Israeli regime has informed the United States of his decision to attack the Gaza Strip, citing Hamas’s violation of the ceasefire.
The English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that Israel notified the United States about its plan to strike the Gaza Strip following accusations that Hamas breached the ceasefire agreement.
Israel’s Channel 12 also reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the U.S. government about the nature of this military operation before carrying it out in Gaza.
CNN cited a U.S. official confirming that Israel had alerted Washington to its decision to conduct attacks in Gaza.
These developments come as Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom quoted an Israeli source saying, “We will attack Hamas, but tensions will not escalate to a point where war resumes.”
