ISIS-Linked Militant Group Dismantled in Iraq
Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces successfully identified and dismantled a terrorist cell affiliated with ISIS.
according to the English section of webangah News agency, citing a security source from Al-Anbar province reported by Al-Maalomah, the Popular Mobilization Forces uncovered and neutralized an ISIS-linked terrorist group in the region.
The forces acted after obtaining precise intelligence on the group’s movements. The cell consisted of remnants of ISIS operatives,whom security forces subsequently arrested.
This group aimed to carry out terrorist attacks targeting Iraq’s security and stability.
It is worth noting that Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces continue their anti-terrorism operations across the country.
