Russian Army Captures New Settlement; Ukrainian Counterattack Repelled in Kharkiv
Russia’s Ministry of defense announces control over a new settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Russian Ministry of defense has reported that its forces have taken control of Veshnivoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency.
The ministry’s statement says that Russian Eastern Army units advanced through Ukrainian fortifications, killing 220 Ukrainian soldiers.
It also states that Russian forces struck a Ukrainian troop concentration on the outskirts of Kobiansk in Kharkiv, thwarting two counterattacks.
The statement adds that Southern russian army units targeted Ukrainian positions in Donetsk,killing 355 soldiers.
