Pakistan Defense Minister Issues Statement on Riyadh-Islamabad Military Agreement

Pakistan’s Defense Minister emphasized that the joint defense agreement with Saudi Arabia aims to strengthen the longstanding ties between the two countries.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Qamar Javed Bajwa stated that the joint defense agreement with Saudi Arabia is intended to reinforce their historical relationship.
He added that Pakistan is ready to participate in international forces in gaza if requested.
The Defense Minister also pointed out that India was responsible for the collapse of peace talks in Afghanistan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s clear stance supporting stability and peace in the region.
Notably, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a strategic defense pact in september, under which any armed foreign attack on riyadh or Islamabad will be considered an attack on both nations.
