Pakistan Defense Minister Issues Statement on Riyadh-Islamabad Military Agreement

Pakistan’s Defense Minister emphasized⁣ that ‍the joint defense agreement‌ with​ Saudi Arabia aims to strengthen the longstanding ties between ⁤the​ two‍ countries.

According to⁣ the English⁤ section of⁤ webangah News ⁤Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency⁤ and Al Arabiya, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Qamar Javed Bajwa stated that the joint defense agreement ⁣with Saudi Arabia is intended to reinforce their historical‍ relationship.

He added that Pakistan is ready to participate⁢ in international forces in gaza if requested.

The Defense Minister ⁤also pointed out that India​ was responsible for the collapse of peace talks in ⁤Afghanistan and​ reaffirmed Pakistan’s clear stance supporting stability and peace in the region.

Notably, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a strategic⁣ defense pact in september, under which ⁢any armed foreign attack on riyadh or Islamabad will be considered⁣ an⁢ attack on both nations.
