Ukraine Claims Strike on Two Russian Oil Refineries

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that Moscow Times, quoting Russian goverment officials, alleged today, Wednesday, that at least two Russian oil refineries and a major petrochemical production facility were hit in overnight Ukrainian drone attacks.
The Federal Air Transport agency of Russia (Rosaviatsiya) announced that 13 airports across russia-including three in Moscow and Crimea-were forced to halt operations for security inspections.
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that the country’s air defense forces intercepted 100 Ukrainian drones overnight. Nearly half of these drones appeared over the Bryansk region, with six others detected above the Moscow area.
The newspaper also reported that five additional drones were downed over Crimea on Wednesday morning.
Alexander Bogomaz, governor of Bryansk region, said the attacks caused damage to nine houses and a Miratorg facility. Miratorg is Russia’s largest meat producer.
Vladimir Vladimirov, governor of Stavropol region, announced a drone strike on an industrial zone in Budyonnovsk but added the attack did not cause significant damage.
