Hezbollah Condemns Israeli Regime’s Incursion into Lebanon
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, Hezbollah sharply condemned the Israeli occupation regime’s crime in the town of Blida in southern Lebanon. The group also expressed gratitude for President Joseph Aoun’s call on the Lebanese army to confront Israeli aggressions.
The attack occurred instantly after a visit by the US envoy to Lebanon, who chaired sessions of the Mechanism Committee.
Hezbollah emphasized that this aggression against Blida is a heinous crime reflecting the bloodthirsty enemy’s cruelty without any justification.
The statement called for a unified and responsible national position from both the Lebanese goverment and all political factions in response to ongoing crimes and violations by the occupying regime.
Hezbollah underscored that Israel’s aggression against Lebanon is conducted with US complicity, noting Washington has given Israel a green light for any escalation towards Lebanon.
according to the statement, Israel continues its series of crimes within Lebanese territory. It insists on violating Lebanon’s sovereignty and desecrating its citizens’ dignity through repeated attacks.
The Zionist occupation regime simultaneously infiltrated Blida with an armed patrol composed of several military jeeps. During this incursion, it targeted a municipal employee resting inside his office, resulting in his immediate martyrdom.
The Blida municipality reported that Ibrahim Salameh was killed during this operation by occupation forces while inside government premises.
