Joseph Aoun: Israel’s Aggressions Against Lebanon Must Be Confronted

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, Israeli forces carried out a series of attacks on the hills surrounding the village of Al-Jarmaq and the Al-Mahmoudiya area amid extensive fighter jet flights.
In this context, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with Army commander Rudolf Heikal and called for confronting any israeli incursions into liberated southern territories in defense of Lebanon and its citizens’ security.
Aoun emphasized that the attack on Blida municipality, which resulted in the martyrdom of one employee, constitutes part of Israel’s aggressive actions targeting civilians.
He also pointed out that this assault occurred shortly after a meeting of the committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement monitoring mechanism.
the president urged this committee-including the united States as a member-not only to document incidents but also to exert pressure on Israel to end violations of Lebanese sovereignty.
