Deadly Protests in Tanzania Leave 700 Dead + Video

Nearly 700 people have been killed in violent protests across dar es Salaam and other parts of Tanzania following the presidential election.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Nashra via Mehr News Agency, protests in Tanzania have entered their third day as demonstrators attempt to reach government buildings.
Agence france-Presse, quoting John Kitoka, spokesperson for Tanzania’s opposition party Chadema, reported that 350 protesters were killed in downtown Dar es Salaam and 200 more in Mwanza. Adding casualties from other regions brings the total death toll to around 700.
Following violent clashes on Wednesday during the presidential election-expected to be won by incumbent after disqualifying main opposition candidate Samia Suluhu Hassan-the Tanzanian police imposed a full curfew in Dar es Salaam.
