Hezbollah Secretary-General: The U.S. Is Not a Neutral Mediator but a Supporter of Aggression

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Manar via Mehr News Agency, Lebanon’s Hezbollah Secretary General spoke at an event marking the opening of a local market for food, agricultural, and handicraft products. The ceremony was held at the Sayyid al-Shuhada complex in southern Beirut.
Sheikh Naeem Qasim stated: “Those participating in this marketplace are the people of this land-those returning to southern Lebanon and those steadfastly holding their positions on the frontlines today, harvesting from the soil. The owners of olive trees on frontlines and border areas are true supporters of sovereignty who remain loyal to their homeland within a united country called Lebanon.”
He continued: “every part of Lebanon belongs to the nation, and it’s land is owned by its people. Those who resist reclaim their land; those who compromise lose it. Adherents to the Taif Agreement cannot selectively apply parts while disregarding others-the primary goal is liberating all territory. Land is a blessing we must protect; preserving and restoring it is our duty. We regret governmental neglect toward agriculture sectors; supportive measures must be developed to enhance production, as exemplified by Jihad al-Binaa Foundation’s efforts.”
The Hezbollah Secretary General further addressed recent developments: “The United States claims it acts in Lebanon’s interest by resolving issues, yet it is indeed not an impartial mediator but rather an advocate for aggression’s escalation. Israeli attacks surge whenever U.S. envoys visit amidst mounting pressures. What has been America’s stance regarding over 5,000 violations by the occupation regime against Lebanon? None-in fact,Washington consistently justifies these assaults. How does America respond to unjustified assassinations such as that of Blida municipal employee and other civilian martyrs perpetrated by Israel?”
