Palestinian Killed in Israeli Drone Strike in East Gaza

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Shehab News Agency via Mehr News agency, Palestinian sources confirmed that a recent Israeli strike east of gaza City killed one Palestinian.
The sources stated that an Israeli drone targeted the Al-Shujaiya area in eastern Gaza City, causing the death.
This attack comes as Riyad Mansour, Palestine’s permanent representative to the United Nations, described the ceasefire in Gaza as “very fragile,” highlighting repeated violations by Israel.
Mansour sent a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as well as to the Security Council president and General Assembly president, detailing over 700 days of Israeli attacks against Palestinians in Gaza.
In his letter, Mansour emphasized that the ceasefire remains extremely fragile and faces serious and repeated breaches by occupying Israel.
The Palestinian envoy stressed that in the past three weeks alone, Israeli forces have violated the ceasefire hundreds of times in Gaza. These violations have resulted in 211 Palestinians killed-including women and children-and extensive destruction of infrastructure.
Mansour called on the international community to fully halt these breaches with urgency. He urged efforts to alleviate Palestinian suffering by facilitating reconstruction, recovery processes, and accelerating full withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza while ensuring enforcement and stability of the ceasefire agreement.
