Joulani Responds to Israeli Regime’s Attacks on Syria

Syria is unwilling to be a focal point of conflict and aims to strengthen relations with all regional and international parties based on cooperation and interaction, said Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm.
Al-Shaibani also highlighted Syria’s pride in its cultural and ethnic diversity. He emphasized efforts to extend cooperation toward allies and friends for achieving shared regional interests.
The minister revealed that al-Joulani will visit the White House in early November.
He stressed that discussions with Washington will focus primarily on Syria’s reconstruction and strengthening strategic partnership with the United States.
Regarding Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, al-Shaibani said Damascus responds with restraint and diplomacy. He added that Syria seeks to protect its interests without escalating conflicts or tensions.
He underscored Syria’s desire for a strong partnership with the U.S.while handling Israel diplomatically: “we are not moving against Israel; rather, we aim to keep its harm away from us.”
