Abdul Latif Rashid Consults with Iraq’s Interior Minister on Parliamentary Elections

The meeting reviewed ongoing measures to organise the parliamentary election process and discussed ways to ensure its success as part of strengthening the country’s democratic progress.
The president highlighted the importance of establishing a secure and stable environment that allows elections to take place and guarantees citizens their right to vote freely and transparently.
He underscored the critical role of the Ministry of Interior in protecting polling stations and securing the voting process by implementing security plans in Baghdad and other provinces. These efforts aim to ensure safe and fair elections.
