Madbouly Urges Israel to Withdraw from Occupied Positions in Southern Lebanon

Egypt’s Prime Minister announced plans to visit Beirut next month to discuss ⁢strengthening bilateral relations and ‍urged‌ Tel Aviv to withdraw⁤ from occupied ⁣positions in southern Lebanon.

According to the English section of webangah news ⁤agency, citing Cairo alakhbariya and Mehr News agency, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly stated he ‍will travel to Beirut next month for consultations aimed at enhancing bilateral ties.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Lebanese ​Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Madbouly‍ highlighted ⁤that trade volume between Egypt and Lebanon reaches one billion dollars. He⁤ also referred to directives from the Egyptian⁢ presidency to provide various forms of support ⁢to Lebanon in the ⁢upcoming period.

Madbouly condemned Israeli incursions into southern ‍Lebanon‌ and expressed support for the Lebanese government’s efforts to maintain the country’s stability.

The Egyptian⁣ prime minister further emphasized his country’s readiness to assist Lebanon in its reconstruction process. He called⁢ on israel to withdraw from occupied positions ‌in southern Lebanon.

Madbouly noted Lebanon’s appreciation⁢ for Egypt’s role in achieving ceasefires and rebuilding Gaza, ⁤adding that ⁤Egyptian companies are ready to participate in rebuilding southern ⁣Lebanon as well.

meanwhile, Lebanese Prime‍ Minister Nawaf Salam described Egypt-Lebanon relations as reflective of the depth of Arab solidarity.

He said he discussed⁢ cooperation with his Egyptian counterpart on energy, water, ⁢and sustainable development sectors.

Salam commended Egypt’s efforts toward regional stability and noted Cairo’s commitment to pursuing peaceful solutions for‍ conflicts.

The Lebanese prime minister⁢ also praised Egypt’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and its backing ​of Lebanon on all matters related thereto.

He concluded by affirming that ​cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon demonstrates deep mutual trust between ⁢the two countries.
