Trump Warns of Possible Attack on Nigeria; Praises Jolani’s Performance

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, former US president Donald Trump reiterated during an interview with CBS that he believes the Ukraine war can be ended. He stated: “if I were president, this war wouldn’t have happened. The Ukraine war is Biden’s war, not mine.”
He added: “I inherited this foolish war. Sometimes we should just let them fight among themselves.”
When asked whether he would reconsider sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, Trump responded negatively.
On Iran, he again asserted that the country does not possess nuclear weapons.
Regarding nuclear testing by the United States, Trump claimed that Russia, China, and North Korea conduct such tests.
He explained: “Performing these nuclear tests is necessary to ensure systems’ functionality. The reason I announced this is as Russia said it would carry out these tests-and North Korea does as well. We’re the only country that doesn’t! They conduct thier tests deep underground; we only feel minor tremors on the surface.”
Turning to Venezuela, Trump reiterated his interventionist stance by stating: “Nicolas Maduro’s days in power are limited. I neither confirm nor deny carrying out attacks on Venezuelan territory.”
When asked whether the US would go to war with Venezuela, he replied: “No-but they treat us badly-not just with drug trafficking but also by smuggling hundreds of thousands into our country.”
The former president also voiced a hawkish position on Nigeria saying there could be deployments of armed forces or airstrikes against Nigeria.
On Syria, Trump once again expressed support for ruling terrorist groups and referenced lifting sanctions against Syria as an chance for those terrorists. He claimed that jihadist leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani is performing well and mentioned Julani’s possible visit to Washington DC-saying he might come to the White House.
