China Responds to Trump’s Nuclear Remarks

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al Youm, China’s Foreign Ministry reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that the United States and Russia are conducting nuclear tests. The ministry emphasized that China remains committed to a no-first-use nuclear policy and expressed hope that the U.S. will also abide by a moratorium on nuclear testing.
The ministry added that China is prepared to cooperate with other countries to uphold the integrity of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
Regarding the situation in Sudan,the Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned violent actions against civilians and called for the resumption of political processes aimed at achieving peace and stability in Sudan.
