Gaza Summit Begins in Istanbul

The gaza meeting aimed at reviewing the latest developments regarding the ceasefire and the humanitarian situation in Gaza has started at a hotel in Istanbul, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency.
Hosted by Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan fidan, the meeting includes foreign ministers from Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and also representatives from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Fidan is expected to stress that Israel is making excuses to end the ceasefire in Gaza and emphasize the international community’s need to take a firm stance against these provocative actions.
The Turkish Foreign Minister will also highlight the importance of coordinated efforts among Muslim countries to ensure that the ceasefire leads to lasting peace in Gaza.
Anadolu reports that Fidan plans to state that humanitarian aid entering gaza remains insufficient and accuse Israel of failing to fulfill its commitments on this front.
