According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on Monday at the Gaza meeting in Istanbul that Israel repeatedly violates the ceasefire agreement and obstructs sufficient humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. israel has failed to fulfill its commitments regarding humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip.
Fidan further stated that Hamas is prepared to hand over governance of Gaza to a Palestine-led committee. Israel must stop breaching the ceasefire and fulfill its obligations for delivering humanitarian assistance.
He added, “No action should be allowed to undermine the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. We do not want genocide or ethnic cleansing to resume there. Steps must be taken to preserve the ceasefire and establish peace based on a two-state solution.” Since the ceasefire, Israel has killed nearly 250 people in Gaza, and these attacks must stop immediately.
He concluded by saying Ankara is ready to do whatever is necessary for peace but emphasized that an acceptable framework must first be established. The crimes against humanity being committed in Gaza must end,and the ceasefire should remain durable. Palestinian governance should be led by Palestinians themselves, with international support for this process.
