Belarus and Iran Hold Talks on Air Defense Cooperation
The Belarusian Ministry of Defence announced that a military delegation from the Iranian Air Force is currently in Minsk to discuss cooperation in air defense.
The English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and SB.by,reported that on Monday,the Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced a delegation from the islamic Republic of Iran’s Air Force has arrived in Minsk and will remain until November 5.
The visit began with a meeting between Lieutenant General Andrei lukyanovich, Commander of the Belarusian air and Air Defense Forces, and Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the iranian Air Force.
According to officials, both sides discussed the current state of Belarus-Iran relations and explored ways to deepen cooperation in air force operations and air defense systems.
