Maduro Responds to U.S. Threats: We Are in Contact with Russia
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rossiya Al-Youm, venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro responded to increasing U.S. threats against his country in a televised interview by saying, “We are in daily contact with the Russian government on all matters.”
He added, “Our relationship with Russia covers all key areas-from industry and technology to economics and military affairs. This cooperation is based on mutual respect and shared interests.”
maduro emphasized, “Russia is a major global power that can maintain respectful relations with countries like venezuela.”
Responding to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement about Moscow’s readiness to respond to Caracas’ requests amid current threats, he said, “That is correct. It must be that way: calm, trust, and brotherhood.”
