Schumer: Americans Have Firmly Rejected Trump’s Plans
The leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate highlighted New Yorkers’ opposition to Trump’s agenda.
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Al Jazeera, Chuck schumer, the Democratic leader in the U.S. Senate,emphasized that the results of the New York mayoral election reflected strong resistance against Trump’s policies.
Zehan Mamdani, New York’s first Muslim mayor and a vocal opponent of Trump, won the mayoral race. In his victory speech, he announced that he will be officially sworn in as mayor in early January.
Mamdani added that he will work diligently to improve New York City’s conditions compared to previous years.
