Lebanese Analyst: Iran Holds Numerous Pressure Levers Against the United States

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Maloumeh, Lebanese political analyst Amehz emphasized that Iran’s leader does not engage with the United States from a position of weakness or need but rather asserts power in shaping the equations.
He added that Iran’s conditions for any negotiations with the US include a complete lifting of sanctions and a guarantee against repeated violations of previous agreements by Washington.
Amehz stated that today, iran holds extensive leverage both regarding its nuclear dossier and regional influence. This leverage enables Tehran to speak confidently rather than from a position of weakness.
He continued, noting that Washington understands any attempt to impose terms on Tehran under new regional dynamics will fail. Iran’s stance reflects its officials’ long-term strategic vision that negotiations will not proceed under pressure.
