Washington’s Latest Move to Support Jolani Ahead of U.S. Visit

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, the United states has presented a draft resolution to the Security Council calling for lifting sanctions imposed on Abu Mohammad jalani, leader of the terrorist rulers in Syria, ahead of his scheduled meeting with former President Donald trump at the White House next monday.
The draft also requests lifting sanctions on Anas Al-taleb, Syria’s Interior Minister affiliated with Jalani’s terrorist regime.
the resolution requires approval from nine out of fifteen Security Council members and must avoid vetoes from any of the five permanent members to pass.
Previously, Washington had already lifted some sanctions on leaders within jalani’s regime as part of its increased support efforts.
