Lebanon’s Defense⁣ Minister Responds ⁢to Trump’s Envoy’s Interference on‍ Relations with the Israeli Regime.

According to the ⁢English ⁣section of webangah News Agency, citing Russia Today via⁤ Mehr News Agency, Lebanese Defense Minister Michel Mansi rejected claims by Trump’s envoy ⁣about direct communication between⁤ Lebanon’s ⁣president adn⁣ the Israeli ⁣regime’s prime minister, emphasizing that such a matter is categorically out of the question.

Mansi added that‍ the so-called ‌Mechanism ⁢Commitee, ⁢established‌ to implement‍ and monitor‌ the ceasefire ⁤agreement, ‍is ‌moving toward playing a role in indirect negotiations with Tel Aviv aimed ‌at securing stability⁢ and ‍security ​along Lebanon’s southern‌ borders.

The minister stated that the first phase of consolidating state monopoly over weapons will ‌be carried out in southern Lebanon-from the Litani River​ to the borders-and is expected to ‍be completed ⁣before year-end.

Addressing Israeli ‌violations, Mansi affirmed that the Lebanese ⁤army remains committed to defending national sovereignty and ⁤must receive ⁢full support for its military capabilities.
