Hebrew Newspaper Calls Mamdani’s Victory in New York Strange; Alarm Raised

An Hebrew-language newspaper has called Zahraun Mamadani’s victory in the New York City elections a warning signal for the Israeli regime.
The English section of webangah News Agency reported, citing Mehr News Agency and Shahab, that the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth described Zahraun Mamadani’s win in the New York mayoral race not as a passing event, but as a sign of growing strength for a movement that questions the legitimacy of the Israeli regime.
The report added it is remarkable that New York City-home to the largest Jewish population worldwide and witness to the September 11 attacks-has elected an anti-israel Muslim figure.
The Hebrew newspaper admitted that his victory serves as a warning bell for Israel. It means Americans no longer hold a consensus view on Israel.
