Car Plows into Crowd in France; 10 Injured

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and BBC, a driver on the resort island of Île d’Oléron in western France drove his car into pedestrians and cyclists, injuring 10 individuals.
Authorities reported that four of the victims are in serious condition.
officials said a man around 30 years old deliberately attacked people with his vehicle and was apprehended by police using a stun gun after becoming immobilized.
Arnaud Larriz, public prosecutor of La Rochelle, stated that the suspect was already known to law enforcement.
The 35-year-old man has been arrested by police in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron on suspicion of attempted murder; however, French counterterrorism authorities have not taken over the case.
