Tribal Clashes in Chad Leave 33 Dead

Clashes between herders and farmers in southwestern Chad have resulted in 33 deaths.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Reuters via mehr News Agency, a local official and a tribal elder in Chad announced on Wednesday that at least 33 people were killed in clashes between herders and farmers in the country’s southwest region.
The conflicts also left many others injured.
Deadly clashes occur frequently in this Central African nation.
The disputes are usually triggered by local farmers accusing herders of grazing their livestock on farming lands.
