Mirzoyan: We Maintain Active Economic Relations with Iran and Will Continue Doing So
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Armenpress, armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed hope on Wednesday that sanctions against Iran will be lifted. This would allow Yerevan to fully realize the potential of its relationship with tehran.
Speaking at the Urbellie 2025 forum, Mirzoyan stated, “Our friendship with Iran is very crucial. Nothing will weaken this friendship. I cannot imagine any Armenian government continuing its relations with Iran without the same spirit of brotherhood and neighborhood.”
Mirzoyan added that Iranian sanctions restrict thier commercial and economic ties. “I hope these sanctions are lifted so we can fully achieve the potential of our relations with Iran.Beyond these limitations, we have very active economic ties with Iran, and this will continue.”
