American Media: Trump Cautious About Military Action Against Maduro

The English section of webangah News Agency quoted Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, reporting that The Wall Street Journal stated U.S. officials disclosed president Donald Trump expressed hesitation about launching a military operation to oust Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro during a meeting with senior advisors.
Unnamed sources added that Trump is concerned such an attack might fail to force Maduro’s resignation, though he continues to consider military options related to Venezuela.
According to U.S. officials, trump expressed satisfaction with the gradual buildup of American forces in the region and ongoing operations targeting drug-smuggling vessels.
The Wall Street Journal cited the White House as saying Trump declared he would continue striking drug traffickers, whom he labels terrorists, and described discussions on any other matter as mere speculation.
Simultaneously occurring, the report also noted that U.S. Justice Department officials are preparing a legal document authorizing Trump to target Maduro directly.
