Hamas Leader: Al-Aqsa Storm Operation Responded to Attempts to Erase the Palestinian Issue
khalil al-Hayya, head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, declared at the 34th Arab National Conference in beirut that the Al-Aqsa Storm operation responded directly to attempts to eliminate the palestinian cause and establish a new Middle East.
Al-Hayya emphasized, “Gaza is wounded today but remains strong. it calls on you all to continue our path toward achieving our legitimate national goals together.”
He added, “Palestine will endure just as Gaza has remained steadfast despite aggressions – with its sea, men, women, and children. Injustice will be abolished.”
Al-Hayya stressed that October 7 marked a heroic chapter for Palestine within its borders when the Islamic nation rose in support of them each in their own way.
“This Al-aqsa Storm,” he said, “places a great obligation upon us to plan for Palestine’s liberation and enhance our capabilities.”
