Al-Barghouti: Normalization with Kazakhstan Marks Failure of Tel Aviv’s Regional Efforts

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Facts Center, Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, responded on Friday to reports of possible normalization between Kazakhstan and Tel Aviv.He stated that the Zionist regime’s “escape” toward establishing ties with Kazakhstan reflects a failure to broaden normalization efforts across the region.
He added: “Normalization with a state committing genocide will never erase the reality that genuine and just peace in the middle East can only be achieved through full realization of the national rights of the Palestinian people.”
Hebrew media outlets claimed Thursday night that one Asian country would soon normalize relations with israel, likely Kazakhstan.
The Axios website also reported expectations that Kazakhstan’s president might join the Abraham Accords during his meeting with Trump. However, Kazakh officials have neither confirmed nor denied this report.
