Ehud Barak: Israel Is Collapsing Before Our Eyes
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Palestinian Shehab News Agency, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak warned that Israel is collapsing before the eyes of its own people.
He emphasized that this collapse is not related to political factions-whether right or left-or to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or others, nor is it connected to any gap between past and present conditions in Israel.
Barak pointed to the racist policies of the far-right within the occupied territories, stating that Israel will either see a democratic government formed or remain under a dark, racist, and corrupt dictatorship. This regime, he said, will ultimately lead to the destruction of Zionism and Israel’s government.
The former prime minister’s remarks highlight the deep internal political crises within Israel that have alarmed even prominent and former officials about its future.
