Ukrainian Elements Present Among Rebels in Sudan
The Russian ambassador to Sudan has suggested the presence of Ukrainian operatives among the Rapid Support Forces, reportedly operating drones in the country.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and rossiya Al-Youm, the ambassador stated there are suspicions about Ukrainian personnel activating drones amidst these forces.
He further accused the Rapid Support Forces of firing on hospitals during their offensive in Darfur, committing atrocities against civilians-including women and children-on camera. He described these actions as ethnic cleansing targeting local residents.
Earlier, Novosti news agency reported that ukrainian mercenaries were fighting alongside Sudanese rebels. It was also reported that some of these mercenaries were killed in clashes in western Sudan.
