Israeli Foreign Minister Reacts to Netanyahu’s Arrest Warrant Issuance
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, Gideon sa’ar, Israel’s Foreign Minister, condemned the recent media maneuver by President Erdoğan as a blatant deception.
Reacting to the Istanbul Prosecutor General’s issuance of an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, Sa’ar accused Turkey’s judiciary of being weaponized to silence Erdoğan’s political opponents.
The Palestinian Embassy in Turkey welcomed the prosecutor’s decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and other Israeli officials, accusing them of genocide in Gaza.
In a statement, the embassy noted that these warrants were issued due to alleged genocide in Gaza and attacks on ships belonging to the Samud Fleet.
Yesterday, Hamas also praised the Istanbul Prosecutor General’s move, which includes arrest warrants against 37 Israeli officials such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Yoav Galant, and Yisrael Katz.
