North Korean Defense Minister Threatens Further Aggressive Actions Against the U.S

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and north Korea’s official news agency, reported that on Saturday, No Kwang-chol condemned the arrival of a U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier in South Korea and warned that Pyongyang will pursue additional aggressive measures.
He described the recent joint air drills between the United States and South Korea, which concluded on Friday,as a source of increased tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
The North korean official also referred to Monday’s visit by U.S. secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and South Korean Defense Minister An Gyu-bek to Panmunjom village at the inter-Korean border as clear evidence of Washington and Seoul’s antagonistic stance and their determination to confront North Korea.
No emphasized that “we are prepared for any scenario” and will undertake more offensive actions in response to threats from adversaries.
The South Korean military reported that on Friday, North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan, traveling approximately 700 kilometers. however, No’s statement did not directly mention this missile launch.
The U.S. Indo-pacific Command stated their assessment indicates this launch does not pose an immediate threat to the United States or its allies but condemned it as a hostile act.
