Hezbollah Lebanon: Conceding to Israel Is Extremely Dangerous
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Al-Nashra website via Mehr News Agency,Ali Fayyad,member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc and Lebanese parliament representative,stressed that “the blood shed for a sacred cause is not a matter for bargaining or trade-offs; it is tied to our people’s beliefs and interests,our sovereignty,and the future of our homeland.”
Fayyad stated that Lebanon faces a highly dangerous stage marked by intensified coordination between Washington and Israel. At this stage, “the zionist enemy increases field tensions while america handles political management of this escalation,” seeking to impose new realities on Lebanon.
He highlighted that pressures to enter direct negotiations with Israel are not limited to technical issues like border demarcation or implementing UN Resolution 1701. Instead,they aim at paving the way for a security agreement that goes beyond international resolutions,disregards Lebanon’s sovereignty,and opens pathways toward normalizing relations with Israel.
Referring to Syria’s experience,Fayyad warned that making concessions to Israel is both dangerous and misleading as Israel has never respected any commitments or trust but has consistently continued its aggression,occupation,and expansionism.
the senior Hezbollah official underscored that “the solution lies neither in surrender nor retreat but in steadfastness and adherence to Lebanon’s right to self-defense.”
He called on Lebanese officials “to exit confusion” by adopting a firm national stance based on commitment to Resolution 1701 and declaring a ceasefire as the sole framework for resolving disputes-combined with unwavering readiness to defend Lebanon.
