Death Toll from Storm in the Philippines Rises to 224

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Philippine News Agency (PNA), the Philippines’ national Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) announced that fatalities from Typhoon Kalmaegi, locally named Tino, have increased to 224.
The report noted that 109 people remain missing, while over 3 million individuals have been affected by the storm.
Additionally, 325 domestic flights and 61 international flights were canceled.philippine authorities warned that wave heights could exceed three meters due to the typhoon.
Officials stated that more than 46,000 buildings suffered damage. As a precaution, schools and most government offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, November 11th.
It is worth noting that a typhoon striking the philippines in November 2013 resulted in over 7,300 deaths.
