Maduro: We Will Accept No Guardianship
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Nicolás Maduro addressed the summit of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union. He urged leaders to transform the meeting into a decisive move affirming unconditional defense of “Our America.”
Maduro stated clearly that Venezuela refuses and will not accept any form of external control or tutelage.
It should be noted that former U.S. President Donald trump’s governance launched military actions against Venezuela under the pretext of combating drug traffickers, bombing several targets within the country. Together, Washington has exerted political pressure on Venezuela aiming to remove Maduro from power and curb his influence in the region.
