Death Sentence Issued for Two Takfiri Terrorists in Iraq
The Iraqi Central Criminal Court sentenced two terrorists to death today, Tuesday, for their involvement in car bombings in Baghdad province in 2015 and Karbala province in 2012. These attacks caused multiple civilian and security force casualties,according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Iraqi news agency WA’a.
The Iraqi Supreme judicial Council issued a statement confirming the court’s rulings against the two terrorists responsible for detonating car bombs in both Baghdad and Karbala.
according to the statement, the first terrorist carried out a car bombing in 2015 in Baghdad’s Al-Shurta Al-rabea district, which resulted in numerous civilians being killed or injured.
The council further stated that the second terrorist was responsible for exploding two car bombs targeting Bab Baghdad area of Karbala province in 2012. These explosions killed and wounded several civilians, security personnel, and members serving at the holy Hussaini shrine.
