Egyptian President Emphasizes Strengthening Agreements from Meeting with Putin
According to teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr news agency, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with a Russian delegation led by Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, in Cairo on Monday. El-Sisi stressed the importance of boosting economic cooperation and investment between Egypt and Russia.
The Egyptian Presidency announced that during the meeting, President el-Sisi and Shoigu discussed regional and international issues as well as ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations across various fields.
The presidential office statement added that el-sisi underscored the importance of reinforcing agreements reached during his May meeting with Vladimir putin.
El-sisi also highlighted enhancing economic collaboration and investment ties with Russia while working to increase trade volume between the two countries.
