Lebanese Army Rejects Tel Aviv’s Brazen Request

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency, Reuters reported-based on statements from three Lebanese security officials and two Israeli officials-that the Lebanese army has rejected Israel’s audacious demand to conduct house-to-house searches in southern Lebanon in an effort to locate weapons.
The report states that Israel has repeatedly requested this action over recent weeks as part of efforts to disarm Hezbollah. However, the Lebanese military insists that such operations could trigger internal conflicts.
Lebanese officials told Reuters that Tel Aviv demands door-to-door searches by Beirut, but they affirm this will never happen.
Nevertheless, aligning with directives from the United states and Israel, the Lebanese army claims it can declare southern Lebanon free of Hezbollah weapons by the end of this year.
This comes amid ongoing Israeli ground and air attacks against Lebanon despite a ceasefire between both sides.
