Iraq’s Prime Minister Casts His Vote Alongside Other Political Figures
According to webangah News Agency, Mohamed Shia’ Al Sudani, Iraq’s Prime Minister, cast his vote moments ago at one of the polling stations.
He emphasized that the elections are being held in a secure and stable environment. “We are committed to ensuring the security of the elections and their openness,” he said, stressing iraq’s dedication to democratic processes.
Al Sudani added that holding these elections demonstrates the principle of peaceful power transition.He also highlighted the importance of international observers in showcasing a proper electoral process.
Notably, the second phase of Iraq’s parliamentary elections for all eligible citizens began earlier today.
