Clashes Erupt Between Protesters and Trump Supporters at UC Berkeley

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Newsweek, student protests at the University of California, Berkeley turned violent during a gathering of supporters of former U.S.President Donald Trump.
The Trump supporters’ event, previously titled “america’s Return to Power” and led by Republican political activist Charlie Kirk, has been organized by other political activists and figures affiliated with this movement since Kirk’s death in September.
On Monday evening local time, students opposing Trump’s policies and the Republican Party clashed with event organizers while chanting “Fascists go away.” U.S. police arrested at least three protesters.
Additionally,four students were detained before the event for attempting to display a cardboard banner with protest slogans.
The protesters carried signs reading “berkeley is no place for fascists” to express their opposition to the Trump supporters’ gathering.
