Jumana Al-Ghalai, spokesperson for Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission, announced on tuesday that the voting process concluded successfully.
She confirmed that no technical violations occurred during the commission’s activities throughout the general election.
Al-Ghalai added that there was high-level coordination between the commission, the Supreme Security Committee, and security ministries to ensure election security across Iraq.
The spokesperson said the commission is currently completing procedures for manual vote counting and verifying those results against electronic tallies.
