Israeli Regime’s Finance Minister Clashes with Military Circles
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post acknowledged disputes between the regime’s Finance Minister and officials from the Ministry of Defense and military regarding the security budget allocation.
The report states that both the Ministry of Defense and the military are demanding increased funding. However, Finance minister Bezalel Smotrich insists that Tel Aviv’s security budget should be reduced.
He emphasized that there is no justification for raising this budget.
Previously, during Israel’s attacks on Gaza Strip, military circles requested additional funds for purchasing weapons. The Finance Ministry opposed these requests at that time as well.
