U.S. Reacts to Report of Military Base Construction Near Gaza Strip

According to the English section ⁤of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, the ‍white House spokesperson said ⁢that the U.S. government‌ has not approved plans to build a military ‍base​ with a ‌capacity of 10,000 troops near the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday,informed sources revealed that the U.S. Navy is ⁢seeking‍ funding⁢ to establish⁤ such a ⁢military base ​close ⁢to Gaza.

Also yesterday, Yedioth ‍ahronoth quoted an Israeli source ⁤reporting that the‍ United States aims to‍ build a military facility around the Gaza area.

The ⁣spokesperson⁢ added that‌ this move would be part of ‍new security measures being implemented.

It is worth noting ‍that dozens of American soldiers are currently stationed in kiryat Gat,located in​ central occupied territories,under⁢ the pretext of⁢ monitoring ceasefire conditions in Gaza.
