Tel Aviv Plans Construction of Zionist Settlements Near Egypt Border

The English section of webangah ‌News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Russia Today, reports that ​the Israeli site Makor Rishon revealed Tel Aviv’s plan to extend its illegal ⁢settlements‌ toward⁣ the southern border areas shared ​with Egypt.

The report states that Israel intends to build one ​of the ‌largest settlement complexes in this⁢ region, housing approximately 8,000 Israelis.

It also notes that living conditions there will ‍be difficult due to the⁣ desert environment, harsh climate challenges, and distance from major population centers.

While authorities claim this move aims to prevent arms smuggling from​ Egypt, it appears that Israeli officials are seeking to expand their control over occupied territories.
