CENTCOM Reports Over 22 Joint Counter-ISIS Operations Conducted in Syria

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) claims to have conducted over 22 joint counter-ISIS operations in Syria.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that its forces, in cooperation with partners in Syria, carried out more than 22 operations against ISIS militants over the past month.
The command’s statement confirmed that five ISIS members where killed and 19 others arrested during these missions.
This report was released a day after Tom Barrett, former U.S. special envoy for Syria under the Trump governance, announced that the Damascus regime had joined his self-declared international coalition against ISIS as its ninetieth member.
