Haaretz Views Trump’s Clemency Appeal for Netanyahu
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and al-Mayadeen,the Haaretz newspaper reported that Donald Trump’s pardon request for the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime indicates that Netanyahu feels increasingly cornered.
Isaac Herzog, President of the regime, also confirmed receiving an official letter from U.S. President Donald Trump requesting a full pardon for Prime Minister benjamin Netanyahu.
In this letter on official White House letterhead, Trump claimed that Netanyahu is a “powerful” prime minister whose focus should not be distracted by these issues.
Trump’s call for a pardon comes as Netanyahu faces accusations of corruption and is sought by international judicial bodies for war crimes committed in Gaza.
