Russia Launches Extensive Drone and Missile Attacks on Ukraine

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, described the early Friday Russian strikes on Ukraine’s capital as extensive. He stated that these attacks targeted critical infrastructure including energy facilities, rail networks, and residential areas.
The mayor noted that fires or structural damage were reported in eight out of Kyiv’s ten districts. He added that medical rescue teams had been dispatched to all affected zones.
Ukrainian media also reported a new wave of retaliatory strikes by Ukraine’s military early Friday morning. Long-range Flamingo missiles were launched against Russian oil facilities.
The Ukrainian General staff confirmed these assaults targeted an oil terminal in Crimea and an oil depot in Zaporizhzhia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement affirming Moscow’s intent to respond to what it called terrorist attacks.
