Wreckage of Turkish Plane Found

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu, Ibrahim Yumakli, Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, announced that the wreckage of the Turkish firefighting aircraft missing on its return flight from Croatia was found in a forested area.
Yumakli wrote on the Turkish messaging app Sosyal that contact wiht the pilot was lost during the return trip from Croatia. The aircraft’s wreckage was located near the city of Senj in western Croatia. Regrettably, the pilot died in the crash.
the Turkish Agriculture Minister added that two AT-802 planes had been dispatched to Croatia for maintenance operations. While one plane landed safely during their return to Turkey, contact with the second plane was lost. In a search and rescue operation assisted by Croatian authorities, the plane’s wreckage was found near Senj.
